Terms of Service & Policies

 

-Selection is for an available date and 'time slot' for your area - each time slot is a four-hour window in which to expect arrival of the Goat-Gram. We cannot accommodate an exact time with all the factors involved.

-Bookings may be cancelled with full refund up to four days at noon PST with full refund, minus $10 service fee. Refunds are processed within 30-days. 

​

-Time slot reservation is required at time of booking, rescheduling is done on an as-available basis and is an additional $10 service fee for each rescheduling.

​

-Goat theme holiday card with your custom message is a non-refundable add-on

​

-Up to 10 minutes ‘meet & greet’ with Goat Ambassador

​

-School Visits:  With written permission & instructions for entering (e-mail is OK), we are able to deliver to teachers and staff, or a ‘whole classroom’ but not individual students. 

​

-Goat Ambassadors will be Nigerian Dwarf Goats. No age guaranteed; may be adult, baby or any age at discretion of ranch. We are not able to accept specific requests.

​

-We reserve the right to refuse service at any time for any reason. Customer will be refunded per our standard refund policy of up to 30-days. This includes but is not limited to belligerent or hostile behavior, threats to persons or animals, or any action deemed harmful to Mullenax Ranch  / California Goat Yoga.

-All services are subject to our standard refund policy and must be requested by e-mail to ‘californiagoatyoga@gmail.com’. As is our standard for any service, we will start the refund process within 30 days per our policy.

-By booking this service you acknowledge you understand we are a small business and family owned and operated working ranch, offering a service with live animals, traffic delays/accidents or unpredictable situations which may interrupt the service we are providing. ALL of our public outreach programs are done to help feed and care for the animals and share our love of goats with others. In the event we make a mistake, cancel or have to make changes we sincerely apologize and at our discretion may refund you per our standard refund policy of 30-days.

-You acknowledge and understand you are responsible for obtaining permission from the site location, management, school, etc., as applicable for the Goat Ambassador “livestock” to be on premises and for the caroler(s) to be on premises.

 

-If additional check-in time is needed, such as drivers license copy for school entry, difficult/far away parking, etc., is required for the location, this may require an additional add-on fee at time of booking at our discretion for extra time. Please contact prior to booking.

-In the event of inclement weather, including snow or unsafe conditions leaving the ranch, mountain roadways where the ranch is located, transit or the area to be serviced; Goat-Grams may be delayed, rescheduled as available and by mutual agreement of customer and Mullenax Ranch, or fully refunded without service fee at Mullenax Ranch’s discretion.

-It is at Mullenax Ranch’s discretion for any changes or refunds after the cutoff date and time.

​Refund and cancellation information is listed on this service description page for Goat-Grams and you are advised to review our terms and ask any questions prior to booking. Our standard refund policy for all goat programs/services is noted on FAQ and other areas of the website as well to make this as clear as possible.

By signing up for any Mullenax Ranch/California Goat Yoga event or program you agree to our terms of service.

CONSENT AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

​

I agree to hold harmless Mullenax Ranch, LLC “Mullenax Ranch” and “California Goat Yoga” a registered trademark of Mullenax Ranch, its owners, independent contractors assisting its owners and or the business; further the location owners,  lessees, business and it’s employees and contractors.

​

I understand animals are unpredictable and may kick, jump, bite, chew, move in surprise or fright and will use the bathroom anywhere or on anyone or anything and am solely responsible for myself, any minors under my supervision and my belongings.

 

Hand sanitizer is available for participants following interaction with the goat. I agree to make sure any minors under my supervision wash their hands following interaction with the goat, particularly prior to eating or placing hands/fingers in their mouth. I agree to wash my hands with soap and water after any interaction with the goat.

Photo Release: I agree to allow photography and or videography of my participation with Mullenax Ranch’s goats and Goat-Gram to be used for online and print media and marketing of the business and goat programs, and may be used by the photographer for their business, portfolio and or marketing of their services.

Mullenax Ranch reserves the right to refuse service for any reason at any point. Any refund or partial refund is at the discretion of Mullenax Ranch.

​

Any legal action, arbitration or other proceeding shall be done within California.

​

By signing up for a Goat-Gram I agree to the above statements and assume liability for myself, the recipient of the Goat-Gram, any participants of the Goat-Gram and/or my child or minor under my supervision.
